These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the Alkemii website and to purchases made through it. By using the website, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.

2. Website information

We try to ensure that information on our website is accurate and up to date. However, product images, colours, packaging, ingredients, descriptions, availability and other content may change from time to time.

Minor differences between product images and the product supplied may occur, including because of screen settings, packaging updates or manufacturing changes.

Please read the product label, ingredients, directions and warnings before use.

3. Product information and safety

Products must be used only as directed.

Cosmetic products are for external use only unless the product label expressly states otherwise. Avoid contact with the eyes and do not apply products to broken or irritated skin unless the product instructions specifically permit this.

Stop using a product and seek appropriate medical advice if you experience a serious or persistent reaction.

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication, have an allergy or have a medical condition, consult a suitable healthcare professional before using any product where appropriate.

4. Food supplements

Where a product is a food supplement:

- do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

- food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.

- keep the product out of reach of young children.

- follow the storage and use instructions on the product packaging.

Product information is not medical advice and our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

5. Results

Individual results may vary.

Hair and scalp appearance can be affected by genetics, hormones, age, stress, nutrition, medication, lifestyle, scalp condition and consistency of use.

Nothing on this website guarantees a particular result, rate of hair growth, reduction in hair loss or other outcome unless expressly stated and properly supported.

6. Product claims

We aim to ensure that product descriptions and marketing claims are accurate, clear and supported by appropriate evidence.

Nothing in these Terms changes the product’s intended use, safety instructions or legal labelling requirements.

7. Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling.

Prices shown to UK consumers include VAT where VAT is chargeable. Delivery costs are shown separately at checkout before payment.

You must pay for your order using one of the payment methods available at checkout.

Payment may be authorised before your order is accepted. If payment is unsuccessful or cannot be authorised, we may be unable to process the order.

8. Orders and contract formation

When you place an order, you will receive an order-confirmation email. This confirms that we have received your order but does not mean that the order has been accepted.

A contract is formed when we send you a dispatch-confirmation email, unless we notify you that we cannot accept the order.

We may refuse or cancel an order where:

- a product is unavailable;

- there is an obvious pricing or description error;

- payment cannot be authorised;

- delivery is unavailable to the address provided;

- fraud or unlawful activity is suspected;

- an order appears to have been placed for resale without permission; or

- we are unable to fulfil the order for another legitimate reason.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled order.

9. Delivery

Delivery information is set out in our *Shipping Policy*.

We remain responsible for the goods until they are delivered to you or to a person nominated by you, except where you independently arrange a carrier that we did not offer.

10. Returns, cancellations and refunds

Your cancellation and refund rights are set out in our *Returns and Refunds Policy*.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

11. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, logos, product names, images, graphics, designs, videos, trademarks and other materials, belongs to Alkemii Ltd or is used under licence.

You may view and use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, license or commercially exploit website content without our prior written permission.

12. Website use

You must not:

- misuse the website.

- interfere with its operation or security.

- attempt unauthorised access.

- introduce viruses, malware or other harmful material.

- use the website for unlawful purposes.

- scrape or harvest information without permission.

- impersonate another person or business.

13. Reviews and user content

If you submit a review, photograph, testimonial or other content, you confirm that:

- it is accurate to the best of your knowledge;

- it does not infringe another person’s rights;

- it is not unlawful, misleading, abusive or defamatory; and

- you have permission to provide it to us.

You grant Alkemii a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, edit and display the content for marketing and business purposes, subject to applicable law.

We may remove content that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms.

14. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or liability for breach of your statutory consumer rights.

Subject to the above, Alkemii will not be responsible for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.

This section does not affect any rights you have in relation to faulty, unsafe, misdescribed or non-conforming goods.

15. Events outside our control

We will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, strikes, courier disruption, supply shortages, technical failures, government action, public-health emergencies or other events that could not reasonably have been prevented.

This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with the updated date.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also have the right to rely on mandatory consumer protections applicable in your place of residence.

Some links on our website, in our emails or on our social-media channels may be affiliate links.

If you purchase through an affiliate link, Alkemii may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.

We will identify affiliate relationships clearly and prominently near the relevant recommendation or link. We aim to recommend products, services and partners that are relevant to the Alkemii philosophy and our hair-longevity approach.

Affiliate relationships do not affect the price you pay.
